Dear Friends,
Many of you noticed the absence of Snowbird’s ambassador this past year. Nelson was put to sleep in late January at the age of 16. Very few days pass without thoughts of him and the time that we spent together. Recently we realized that he taught us many things about how to live life. Every morning he was excited about going to “work” at the Lodge and often he beat us there! Every day Nelson greeted our guests with friendship, gratitude, generosity of spirit and joy! Nelson indeed set a benchmark for all of us to try and reach for every day.
2008 is going to be an awesome year at the Lodge. We have expanded our offerings and programs this year with more music, art and nature. Our new website will be up soon with expanded kitchen and bar pages. If you need help with a wine selection for a dinner or have food questions you can now contact our kitchen team or sommelier directly through the site and they will be happy to help. You may want to check the site often as we are now updating it much more frequently with current “specials” and offerings. We continue to make improvements here, both to the facilities and to our commitment of excellence. We trust that this edition of the Lodger finds you well, safe and happy. We invite you and your friends to join us on the mountain this year to find peace, joy and balance in the serenity that Snowbird offers.
